Capability Development
Leaning into collaborative, human-centered approaches with stakeholders, consumers, and partners.
Capability development is foundational to continuous improvement. Every role I've had required a significant level of renovation or building net-new, some of which was unknown territory for the company. Nothing gets me more motivated than figuring out a mystery!
Capability is simply the ability to do something. Whether tied to a service, technology, person, or team, it's about positioning people to do something better or new. Nothing is more exciting than diving in to figure out what's possible and collaborate to design a path forward.
The image below is a general depiction of my approach.
Whether it be about renovating or building net-new capabilities, teams, or operating models, the process is similar, but the tools and references may be quite different. Every circumstance lends itself to tailoring; hold outcomes tightly, tactics lightly - supported by open-architected frameworks - so that the process fits the culture, need, and broader context.
